Getting ready for quidditch

How does one get ready for quidditch? I'm not sure I'll be of much help to the Hufflepuffs, I'm not good at sports or games. I'm more the type that is better left in the corner with my knitting needles and yarn. I better start brushing up on my Hogwarts history so that I have a fighting chance.
